The Solid Optics DWDM Simplex EDFAMUX is an all-in-one solution incorporating a DWDM Multiplexer, an EDFA (amplifier), and a Dispersion Compensator in a 1RU 19” casing, which we pre-configure to your fiber and can be re-configured as needed.
Our WDM 100G solutions are designed for easy deployment and are priced with budget in mind, making them an affordable option for network upgrades. These plug-and-play solutions require minimal effort on your end, allowing for a quick and hassle-free network upgrade without the need for multiple pieces of equipment or extensive configuration.
The 100G EDFAMUX models are designed to work with QSFP28 100G DWDM PAM4 optics, which require amplification to go any distance and dispersion compensation beyond 5km. The 100G EDFAMUX SIMPLEX models come in 80km versions.
